Why Queen is my favourite Band

Queen has to be my favourite band by far and I think that it's lots of other people's favourite band too.

The reason that Queen is my favourite band is because of their catchy songs and groovy beats.They have made some of the best pop/rock songs ever. I also think that their songs sound simple but when you try to play them they have complex rhythms and the way there's only one singer, drummer, bassist and guitarist. Another reason is because I just love the type of swagger and energy they play with which you can see In some of their music videos.

Their band is made up of Freddie Mercury how is one of the best singer songwriters I've ever heard, Brian May is the greatest guitarist I've seen also I love the way he plays and am completely mind blown at the speed his hand moves, Roger Taylor who is a great drummer who is able to play very hard beats that would take me hours to get right and he also still does concerts with Brian may and last is John Deacon who is probably one of the lesser known people in the band he was a very good bassist and you could probably here him in another on bites the dust by queen in which he wrote.

Songs

Queen has loads of banging songs and its mind-blowing to think of how many great songs they made in 31 years and it was sad that Freddie Mercury died otherwise I think they would have a lot more great songs. Anyway Queens most memorable songs have to be We Will Rock You and Bohemian Rhapsody which they sang at Live Aid in 1985. They also have other popular songs like Radio Ga Ga, Don't Stop Me Now and Another One Bites The Dust which are also brilliant.
