Post Math Thoughts Liv Vs Man Utd

Summary 1st Half

The game started like everyone thought it would with Liverpool pressing high and putting Man Utd under pressure and then in the 5th minute Salah made a fantastic run down the right wing and crossed it Into the space and Diaz calmly placed it into the back of the net.

The second goal came soon after Liverpool piled on the pressure forcing Man Utd into mistakes. In the 22nd minute mané flicked the ball superbly on the outside of his foot and Salah hit into the bottom corner.After that goal the game continued with Liverpool piling on the pressure but that was was all the action for the first half.

Summary 2nd Half

The 2nd half started quite the opposite with Man Utd piling on the pressure and forcing a fantastic double save from Allison but Liverpool broke united's spirts and when Mané scored a one on one goal leaving De Gea completely exposed. Finally in the 85th minute Salah completed his brace.

Player of the Match

My man of the match is Thiago. Even though he didn't score or get an assist but his passing was crucial in controlling the midfield, and that's why I think he's my man of the match.

Under Performer of the Match

My under performer of the match is David De Get because his distribution was off during the whole match. There was two instances where he tried to hit it long to Wan Bissaka but instead it went straight out of play also he was incapable of playing out from the back and didn't seem to have the control and respect of his defence which was necessary to stop Liverpool's attack.
