Ireland VS Germany

This match has to have been one of the most thrilling matches I've ever been to.

The match was held in the Aviva which is the biggest football stadium in Ireland. It was a euro qualifier (which is a tournament for the best national teams in Europe).

The match was pretty close with Germany missing some easy goals and they even had one of their goals disallowed. Then the breakthrough came and Shane Long scored a goal in the 65th minute. He thundered the ball past Manuel Neuer. The minute he scored the fans erupted like a volcano. At the end the score was 1-0 with Shane Long's goal proving decisive.

On the way back we went by train to the car park and there were a couple of teenagers banging on the top of the train singing. Then the train stopped and a security guard warned them.

overall it was a brilliant match with both sides playing some eye-catching football.
